Published in an earlier form in Theologische Zeitschrift, 1975, 31: 337-350; #1975-329.

First paragraph: "The 1975 Colloquy of the Académie Internationale des Sciences Religieuses held at Bethanien, St Niklausen/OW (Switzerland), from the 18th to the 21st of March, was based on a widely acclaimed contribution by Karl Rahner on the Trinity..."

Footnote #1: "While the account of our 'conclusions' presented here represents the general mind of the Colloquium, it fell to me as President of the Academy to prepare an account of the Colloquy. This has been subsequently rewritten and enlarged to offer a fuller presentation of the discussion and to give it some internal coherence. But it inevitably reflects the perspective of the author, especially in the notes."
