Other than News and Participatio, we have now ceased adding new content to this website. This does not mean you should cease offering us new content. Behind the scenes, we are still gathering fresh content to add to a new implementation of the website to launch in the coming year.
Over the past several years Drupal, once a mainstay of the digital humanities, has taken an unexpected veer toward corporate content management. A Drupal site now requires IT professionals to maintain. Indeed, even to update older sites like this one, created only a few years ago, requires IT expertise beyond the reach of most individual scholars in the digital humanities. As a result, many Digital projects built on older versions of Drupal have crashed and burned. We are seeking a professional web developer with Drupal expertise to help us preserve and maintain this site long enough for us to undertake a migration to a new web platform in 2027. If you know someone who might be able to help us with this Drupal website on a pro bono basis, please let us know.
