Contact narrator(s) and arrange for a video conversation to present the oral history materials. In that conversation, we review the documents, particularly the Name and Term Lists, Biographical Data form, Curriculum vitae, Deed of Gift, and narrator materials permission form, and ask any questions that arise regarding the transcription.
In preparation for that conversation, and/or during or after the first video conversation, invite the narrator(s) to access and review the oral history page, granting them a website account enabling them to log in and see the materials.
Even if the narrator(s) approve the materials, we offer them 60 days to review and suggest corrections or additional materials before publishing.
If an update and/or supplemental oral history interview is desired, the preferred option, all other factors being equal, is to add it to the same oral history page of the website, yet to undertake it separately as a later addendum, after publication of the initial materials. Nevertheless, defer to the desires of the narrator(s).
