Contents

The bulk of the work is the martyrology, which consists of two unnumbered preliminary leaves (4 unnumbered pages), followed by 382 pages numbered from 1. The zoology and botany chapters follow afterward with continuous pagination. Inserted at the beginning are two chapters, by M'Crie and Miller, with separate pagination in brackets. The Preface uses roman numerals. Plates, without page numbers, are bound in various locations in the volume depending on the particular copy.
