Chapter 3, "Theological and Scientific World Views," is a significantly revised version of "Divine and Contingent Order," #1981-407. From the Preface, pp. ix-x: "The first three chapters of this book represent lectures I have given to groups of scientists and theologians, and are reproduced here with only subsidiary modification.... And the third chapter, under the title 'Divine and Contingent Order', in a somewhat different form was the lecture delivered to the Oxford International Symposium on 'The Sciences and Theology in the Twentieth Century', at Christ Church, on 19 September 1979."
