Publication life cycle / General notes
“This address was delivered at the Pre-Assembly Congress to mark the seventy-fifth anniversary of the Presbyterian Church in Canada; it has been abridged somewhat for publication.” The text is: “Man’s chief end is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.” Editorial, pp. 2-3, speaking of individual conversion and social duties: "Read Dr. Torrance's second address to the Canadian Church at her seventy-fifth anniversary celebrations (printed in this issue), and you will realise that here is a better statement on the needs of to-day.
