No prefatory matter by the translators. 1953 title page verso: "The present work is a translation of the second edition of Urchristentum und Gottesdienst (Zwingli-Verlag, Zürich 1950) and contains also an extra chapter on 'Jesus and the Day of Rest' from the French translation of Part 2, which appeared under the title Les Sacrements dans L'Evangile Johannique (Presses Universitaires de France, 1951)." According to OCLC, reprinted in 1953, 1973, and 1987. No ISBN. According to James Chaousis, a 1962 reprint also exists. A 1956 reprinting of the 1953 ed. with no changes was published by Naperville, Illinois: Alec R. Allenson, Inc.
