Ch. 4: Towards Evanston: Our Oneness in Christ and our Disunity as Churches.

"The original draft of this paper was written by a sub-committee of the Faith and Order Working Committee meeting at Bossey, August 11-19, 1953. The sub-committee consisted of Dr. H. Meyer, now Bishop of Luebeck, Professor Carl Michaelson of Drew Seminary, Madison, U.S.A., and myself. I was then asked to rewrite and expand the paper; Professor Georges Florovsky to write a critique of it, and then Dr. Oliver Tomkins to revise and reduce it, which after further amendment was used as the working paper by the Faith and Order Section at Evanston. It is my revised long draft that is reproduced here, but many minds contributed to it."
