Publication life cycle / General notes

See the #1980-368 first edition for full info.

Preface: "Apart from the second chapter on 'The Priority of Belief,' this book comprises in an extended form The Queen's University Lectures in Theology, to be delivered in Belfast in October 1980." There is a preface, dated 1980, but no "general foreword" as found in other volumes of the series "Theology and Scientific Culture."

Pagination appears to differ: some editions apparently have 144 pages and some 152. This may be due to the way pages are counted, as p. 144 is the last page of actual text; p. 145 is the bibliography for the last chapter, followed by indices.

Included in the Logos Select Works of Thomas F. Torrance collection, #2018-TFT-1-Logos.
