Contains a letter from Thomas F. Torrance in an Appendix. Also mentions TFT on p. 378: "Through the University's Theological Club, Macmurray came to meet Thomas Torrance.... After a period of resistance to what he felt was Macmurray's Humanistic Christianity, Torrance had been quite taken by Macmurray's philosophy of personal relations, and leaned on it significantly in his systematic theology book entitled Theological Science. That gave John much encouragement..."
