The Society of Friends (or “Quakers”) are known for their belief that there are not particular sacraments, but all life is sacramental. Genuine baptism is “spiritual” baptism. Can Pearson’s view be reconciled with that of T. F. Torrance on baptism as centered on the baptism of Christ?
