A profile consists of several component "blocks." Each block contains several fields. Fields in the Identity block include:
- Education notes;
- Highest degree earned;
- Doctoral Supervisor;
- Teachers and Mentors;
- Educational Institutions;
- Dissertation Year Submitted;
- Dissertation Title;
- Dissertation Link.
Fields left empty do not appear in the display. None of these fields are required.
Text Entry Reference
- Education notes.
- Enter general notes about one's education or spiritual formation. These notes may explain or elaborate upon the taxonomy terms listed in the fields for this block.
- Highest degree earned.
- Doctoral Supervisor.
- Enter doctoral supervisor or mentor.
- This is an "All Souls" taxonomy field. For any taxonomy field, enter a word or two, and then wait to see if the desired term appears as a possible selection. Try to avoid creating duplicate terms, if possible. If the desired term does not appear, then enter it in this field and it will be added to the taxonomy term list when you save the record.
- Teachers and Mentors.
- Omit doctoral supervisor names if they are already entered in the Doctoral Supervisor field.
- This is an "All Souls" taxonomy field. For any taxonomy field, enter a word or two, and then wait to see if the desired term appears as a possible selection. Try to avoid creating duplicate terms, if possible. If the desired term does not appear, then enter it in this field and it will be added to the taxonomy term list when you save the record.
- Educational Institutions.
- List institutions where the person being profiled was a student, or which had a formative influence upon his or her professional development.
- This is the "Institutions" taxonomy field. For any taxonomy field, enter a word or two, and then wait to see if the desired term appears as a possible selection. Try to avoid creating duplicate terms, if possible. If the desired term does not appear, then enter it in this field and it will be added to the taxonomy term list when you save the record.
- Dissertation Year Submitted.
- Enter the year the dissertation was submitted or defended (not the year of any subsequent publication).
- Dissertation Title.
- Dissertation Link.
- If the dissertation is available online, link to it here. (This does not include a later published edition as a book; describe that in the Education Notes field.)
